EVIS X1™ GIF-2T1500 Dual Channel Gastrointestinal Videoscope
The EVIS X1 GIF-2T1500 dual channel gastroscope is designed to support advanced therapeutic upper GI procedures with improved efficiency, maneuverability and visualization. Dual instrument channels (3.7 mm and 2.8 mm) enable simultaneous use of two EndoTherapy accessories or one accessory with suction1, aiming to support complex interventions while maintaining procedural flow.
When paired with the EVIS X1 CV-1500 video system center, the GIF-2T1500 scope delivers brighter images, reduced image noise, and enhanced color contrast compared to the GIF-2TH180 scope connected to the CV-190 video processor2, which may help physicians maintain a clear field of view and improve visualization of vascular structures. The scope is also compatible with BAI-MAC™, TXI™, NBI™ and RDI™ imaging technologies.1
Key Benefits
- Designed for advanced therapeutic procedures: Dual instrument channels (3.7 mm and 2.8 mm) enable physicians to use two EndoTherapy accessories simultaneously or combine an accessory with suction1. This added versatility is designed to support complex procedures such as ESD, upper GI bleeding management, foreign body removal and endoscopic suturing.
- Enhanced visualization with EVIS X1 imaging: When connected to the CV-1500 video system center, the GIF-2T1500 scope provides brighter images, reduced image noise, and improved color contrast compared to the GIF-2TH180 connected to the CV-190 video processor.2 Compatibility with BAI-MAC, TXI, NBI and RDI technologies supports visualization of mucosal and vascular structures throughout therapeutic procedures.1
- Improved maneuverability: The scope’s short rigid distal section is designed to facilitate maneuverability in narrow anatomical spaces, including the esophagus, cardia, pylorus and duodenal bulb,2 which may help physicians navigate challenging anatomy with confidence.
- Ergonomic scope handling: The control section of the GIF-2T1500 scope is about 10% lighter than the control section of the GIF-2TH180 scope. Its rounded handle and easy-to-reach angulation control knobs and scope switches are designed to improve user comfort and scope handling and accommodate users with small hands.2
- Continuous water delivery: The auxiliary water function is positioned at approximately the 6:30 position in the endoscopic field of view to support uninterrupted forward water delivery, even when an EndoTherapy accessory is deployed through an instrument channel.1 This helps maintain visualization without sacrificing therapeutic capability.
