EVIS X1™ GIF-EZ1500 Gastrointestinal Videoscope
The EVIS X1 GIF-EZ1500 gastrointestinal videoscope features Extended Depth of Field (EDOF™) technology for a continuously sharp image with minimal focal adjustment, along with an ErgoGrip control section, and compatibility with TXI™, RDI™ and NBI™ technologies when connected to the EVIS X1™ CV-1500 video system center. EDOF technology allows the GIF-EZ1500 scope to provide closer-focused observation in near and normal modes, as well as higher magnification, than the GIF-HQ190 scope. It also allows the scope to obtain sharp high-resolution images, which may aid in a physician’s confident detection and diagnosis in a procedure.1,2
Key Benefits
- Image in total focus: The GIF-EZ1500 scope features EDOF technology, which provides a continuously sharp clinical image with minimal focal adjustment. EDOF technology creates an image in total focus by capturing near- and far-focused images simultaneously and combining them into one image with a wide depth of field. It allows the GIF-EZ1500 scope to provide closer-focused observation in near and normal modes, as well as higher magnification, than the GIF-HQ190 scope. 1
- High magnification: When Near Focus mode is engaged, the GIF-EZ1500 scope offers more detailed observation than the GIF-HQ190 scope. It also provides higher resolution than the GIF-HQ190 scope, as well as 100X maximum magnification when paired with the OEV321UH monitor.2
- Innovative observation modes: When the GIF-EZ1500 scope is used with the EVIS X1 CV-1500 video system center, its 5-LED light source offers several innovative observation modes, including TXI, RDI and NBI technologies, and its noise reduction system enables clear observation with less noise.3
- ErgoGrip: The control section of the GIF-EZ1500 scope is about 10% lighter than the control section of the GIF-HQ190 scope. Its rounded handle and easy-to-reach angulation control knobs and scope switches contribute to improved scope maneuverability, accommodating users with small hands.4
- Easy to use: The GIF-EZ1500 scope’s integrated Water Jet function allows the user to feed water through the auxiliary water channel when necessary, and its air/water nozzle feeds water through the air/water channel to clean the objective lens. This function is designed to maintain clear observation for the physician during diagnosis and treatment of the gastrointestinal tract.5
