Ureteral Stents

Classic Closed Tip

Olympus Classic Closed Tip ureteral stents have remained the standard for comfort, performance, and quality since 1978. Each stent is supplied with one .028” x 100 cm PTFE-coated guidewire and one push catheter.

Key Benefits

  • Silicone performance: Proven, time-tested silicone provides excellent patient comfort and reduces stent encrustation.
  • J-curl design: Proximal and distal J-curls resist migration and minimize pressure on bladder mucosa.
  • Placement markings: A medial line and a full set of incremental markings provide easy cystoscopic and surgical placement.
  • Radiopaque filler: The filler helps in accurate placement and provides clear fluoroscopic visualization.
